The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) awarded four ARDY Awards—1 gold and 3 silver—to Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park.
With more than a thousand members and 40 years of experience, the association gave one gold ARDY to the resort for Best Sustainable Program in a Hotel and awarded three silver awards for Best Social Media Campaign, Best Food and Beverages Program, and Best Marketing Program.
Riviera Maya, Mexico – The environmental practices and service quality of the Riviera Maya were recognized for a third consecutive year by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). The association awarded Hacienda Tres Ríos with one gold and three silver ARDY Awards.
As part of the business group’s annual convention, the exclusive eco-friendly resort that forms part of the Sunset World Resorts and Vacation Experiences was awarded Best Sustainability Program for a Hotel, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Food and Beverage Program for Chef Oscar Orbe, and Best Marketing Program.
In the same ceremony, Brand Tango, the important design agency, won an ARDY Award for their design of a special brochure for Sunset World Resorts and Vacation Experiences.
In attendance at the ceremony were: Sunset World CEO Orlando Arroyo; Vice President of Operations for Sunset World Architect Jorge Pallas; Brand Director Annie Arroyo; and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hacienda Tres Ríos Daniel Arroyo.
In 2010, ARDA awarded the eco-friendly resort two ARDY Gold Awards for its amenities, as well as marketing and public material. In addition, the Riviera Maya resort received six silver awards for: resort architecture, site plan design and utilization, interior design, and signage. In 2009, Hacienda Tres Ríos received two gold awards for its ecological material and logo design as well as two silver ARDY awards for architecture and hotel design.
